Washington, D. C.: July 27-28, 2014
As part of your $225 tuition you will receive:
When you register, you will receive a confirmation email and letter notifying you of the exact location of the mentoring program for the city you select. It is highly recommended that you read chapters 9 & 10 of the ABCH Study Portfolio before you arrive.
Completion of the mentoring seminar does not bestow upon you the title of American Board Certified Haircolorist. To receive this title you must take and pass the examination.
HOTEL: Special rates have been negotiated with the hotel. When making your reservation, ensure you tell the hotel that you are with the American Board of Certified Haircolorists.
Everything necessary to perform the required tasks will be furnished. Tools, gloves, aprons, combs, clips, mannequin stands, brushes and bowls will be available. The variety of sizes and materials to form packets will require you to bring your own foil or other material. If you have a favorite comb, gloves or apron you would like to use, feel free to bring them. Haircolor, bleach and peroxide will be made available to you. You may also use your own color. If you bring your own color on a flight, you must check your baggage; you cannot carry on haircolor or peroxide. Finishing tools will not be necessary. The mannequin will go home with you in a plastic bag, which will be furnished.
The fee for the mentoring seminar is NOT REFUNDABLE. You are able to transfer locations for a fee of $75.
